Wayne Bryan, Sr.

Macro Doctor Founder and Chief Executive Officer Wayne Bryan Sr. is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of successful information technology-based ventures on a global scale. Previous endeavors include a worldwide banking software platform for debit cards Affiliate Customer Loyalty whose customers include one of the largest independently-owned ACH electronic funds processor in the United States.

As a cancer survivor, Mr. Bryan has first hand experience with disconnect between the high-level of professionalism in healthcare, the increasing information-based business challenges that they face and the antiquated, error-prone systems that support the industry’s critical functions. In response he brought together a team of experienced technologists and industry specialists to form Macro Doctor. The firm is dedicated to empower physicians, hospitals and other healthcare institutions with the tools and knowledge they need to effectively manage the business side of health care delivery.

With his extensive background in a wide range of businesses (and a degree in Industrial Psychology) Mr. Bryan brings both experience and insight to his leadership of the firm. He has kept the firm focused on its core mission, operating profitably and debt-free, and well-positioned to play a significant role in helping its medical clients use new technologies and proven best practices to deliver life-saving services to their patients.

Dr. Donghai Huangfu

Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder Dr. Donghai Huangfu has high-level credentials in both medicine and information technology. He has a medical degree and a doctorate in Physiology, as well as a Masters degree in Computer Science. He has a significant depth of expertise in Internet-based technologies, including design and development of both Java and Microsoft platform solutions.

Dr. Huangfu’s unique combination of disciplines has been a major benefit to Macro Doctor in identifying and developing the functionality that will have the most impact on our healthcare clients.

Yugang Liang

Software Architect and Co-Founder Yugang Liang brings a very high level of professional competence and experience to the firm. His distinctive capabilities were apparent from his arrival in the United States; he was granted an open-ended academic scholarship by Virginia Commonwealth University in recognition of the quality of his contributions to the school’s Information Systems program.

Mr. Liang has extensive knowledge and experience developing web-based enterprise software systems as well as significant capabilities with relational database design, development and implementation. He has both a BS in Engineering and a Master's in Information Systems.

Peter McElhinney

As President, Peter McElhinney brings Macro Doctor over 25 years of Information Technology experience. After 10 years with international consulting firm Cap Gemini, he played key roles in growing technology firms through the transition from mainframe to client server to Internet/web services solutions. Working in both sales and strategic consulting roles (with clients including Circuit City, Signet Bank/Capital One, the Discovery Channel and others) Mr. McElhinney has a real world understanding of both the promises and the constraints of cutting edge solutions.

In addition to his work experience, Mr. McElhinney has written numerous articles and conducted seminars and workshops on online technology issues. He also writes about jazz and the arts for Style Weekly, Richmond’s city paper.

Ray M. Branson, D.Ph., FACHE

A visionary with 20+ years of progressive, proactive, results-oriented executive leadership, Mr. Branson is Macro Doctor’s Senior Vice President of Sales. His depth of understanding is based on a foundation of experience gained through serving as CEO of two large hospital organizations, with 1500 employees and $200M budgets.

A frequent lecturer and public speaker, Mr. Branson earned a Master of Science degree in Health Care Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma. He was awarded National Science Fellowship for Undergraduate Research in Pharmacology.

Paul Speroni

Macro Doctor’s Chief Financial Officer, Speroni previously co-founded PayAmerica, one of the largest privately held payroll service companies in the country with over 110 employees, serving the Mid-Atlantic region. A technology innovator, PayAmerica developed the first totally integrated payroll and human resources system in the industry. The company won the Arthur Anderson Fast Tract award in 1996 for recognition of its consistent high growth rate and providing superior service to its clients. The firm was acquired by a publicly-traded company in 1998.

In addition to his responsibilities with Macro Doctor also serves as an advisor/board member for The Washington News Network (a broadcast industry facilities management firm) and Washington Investment Partners, a private equity firm headed by Carlisle Croup co-founder Steve Norris. Mr. Speroni is a 1980 graduate from Radford University with a business degree in marketing.
